Below are some of Romayne's beautiful, wisdom-filled books that he has written, drawing from his one life experiences and inspired from the indigenous Rarámuri, people.
"Life Through The Eyes of a Rarámuri," by Romayne Wheeler, released 2014.
Notes about book from Romayne:
The thoughts in this book are expressed as the Rarámuri would express them, either among themselves or as they talk with me. For centuries the majority of the Rarámuri’s dealings and experiences with non-indigenous people have been negative. Their philosophy of life in respect to the White Man has evolved from their unique history and background.
I don’t want to modify their concepts nor in any way censure them, simply to avoid offending some who might feel included in the generalizations the Rarámuri make about the White Man. My aim is to transmit the authentic message just as they themselves tell it to me.
"La Vida ante Los Ojos de un Raramuri" by Romayne Wheeler, released 2005.

"Raramuri Vision," by Romayne Wheeler, released 2011.
From the author:
Rarámuri Vision comprises countless themes concerning all that happens in the Rarámuri environment. Throughout this book I have attempted to use as many Rarámuri words and expressions as possible in the original language in order to convey as possible in the original way of talking and conversing.
The following anecdotes are very personal and have nothing to do with a professional anthropological study. Nevertheless, I feel they are very valuable because of their authenticity.
