- Preserve the legacy of the founder, Romayne Wheeler, and established programs of the "El Pianista de la Sierra Rarámuri A.C.," a Mexican non-profit that supports Mexico's indigenous Rarámuri with health, education, famine and sustainability programs."
- Promote musicians who, through their music, contribute healing, joy, wellbeing and support to the planet and its people.
Supporting the Rarámuri people- why it matters.
Due to our societal systems, our modern day society is in general, deprived of the many values in life that bring the felt sense of meaning and connection with life and the natural world- Values which for indigenous people like the Rarámuri are lived everyday.
These values are sharing ("korima"), reciprocity, humility, staying connected to their Creator and creating happiness through Music.
